This symposium will explore the challenges and the opportunities to leverage current transportation innovations to build healthier communities. Experts at the national, state and local levels will discuss the role of the public and private sectors in providing transportation services for older adults.
Additionally, transportation network companies like Uber and Lyft, and transportation brokers like Gogograndparent and EZ Ride will present their services and how they can help bridge the gap between available senior transportation services and the needs of those who are living independently or aging in place.
