555: Rutherford-Lyndhurst Shuttle

he service is funded in part by the New Jersey Job Access & Reverse Commute (NJ-JARC) program. The Shuttle links businesses and residential communities with the Lyndhurst Kingsland Train Station and the Rutherford Train Station.

Service is open to the public. All passengers are required to obtain a bus ticket to ride the shuttle by contacting EZ Ride at 201-939-4242 ext. 131. Monthly passes ($180) or booklets of 10 one-way tickets ($50) are available.

Shuttle operates from 5:19am – 9:10am and from 5:19pm – 8:15pm Monday – Friday.

Service is open to the public.
All times indicated are for departure only.
A monthly pass/daily ticket is required. Contact (201) 939-4242 ext. 131 to obtain bus tickets.
Shuttle times are approximate as traffic and weather may cause unexpected delays.
Do not force the driver to stop by getting in front of the bus. Apart from being a safety hazard, the driver can receive citation from NJ Transit police for unauthorized pick-up.
Service animals and portable oxygen permitted.
No food or drink allowed inside the shuttle.
Route deviation service is available to riders up to ¼ mile from the printed bus route where conditions allow. Contact customer service to request deviation at (201) 939-4242 Ext. 1
