The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is coming to East Rutherford, with matches taking place at New York New Jersey Stadium, including group stage, knockout rounds, and the Final.

Significant traffic, transit delays, and congestion are expected throughout the Meadowlands region on match days:

• June: 13, 16, 22, 25, 27, and 30
• July: 5 and 19

To help reduce congestion, commuters and non-essential travelers are encouraged to consider remote or hybrid work options during peak match days.

Getting to the Stadium: Plan Ahead

Fans are strongly encouraged to use public transit as their primary travel option. NJ TRANSIT and PATH services will provide the most reliable access to the stadium.

• Expect significant congestion throughout the region
• Plan to arrive at least 3 hours before kickoff.

Important: There will be no public parking at the stadium, and ticket holders will not be permitted to drive directly to the venue. Access to on-site parking will be restricted to credentialed vehicles only.

Accessibility

• Accessible parking is available in Lots E, F, and G with valid state-issued accessibility permits
• Event staff will direct vehicles to designated accessible parking areas
• An accessible drop-off location will be available in Lot C near the Verizon Gate.

Rideshare Information

• Rideshare drop-off/pick-up will be located off-site at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment with pedestrian access to the stadium
• Expect surge pricing, extended wait times, and heavy congestion following matches.
• Riders are encouraged to walk away from the immediate stadium area before requesting a pickup

Additional Parking & Stadium Shuttle Options

• American Dream Parking: Limited parking will be available by advance reservation, with pedestrian access to the stadium. Early arrival is strongly recommended.
• Clifton Park-and-Ride (Hackensack Meridian Health Campus): Shuttle service will operate on match days, providing an alternative transportation option for fans.

EZ Ride Shuttle Service Advisory

Due to roadway restrictions and traffic control measures during FIFA World Cup 2026™ match days, the following EZ Ride services will not operate on:

June 16,  22,  25 and 30.
