EZ Ride’s Community Cars program was launched in 2008 with funding from the National Center for Senior Transportation and was one of 8 programs in the country selected from more than 300 applicants. It offers seniors flexible curb-to-curb transportation for any purpose. Unlike other senior transportation programs that follow a fixed-route and fixed-schedule, EZ Ride goes where you want.
Award-winning EZ Ride Community Cars
Recognized with the STAR Award for Excellence by the Beverly Foundation in 2010, Community Cars was one of 19 winners in the country, selected from more than 333 program applicants. It is a membership-based program that begins with a registration for a transportation account. Once you are registered, rides can be scheduled 24 hours in advance.
Seniors and care-givers can sign up
Care-givers may register on behalf of the person they care for. Care-givers ride for free if their pick-up and drop-off points are the same as the rider’s.
